Things have been in full swing since we premiered the first six episodes of O-Cast in NYC on October 22nd and then released the first two episodes online on the following Monday! For those that don’t know what O-Cast is:
O-Cast is a mockumentary web series created by the twelve Olympian gods of Greek mythology to broadcast their new lives as 20-something New Yorkers. Comedy ensues as they combine forces to convince the mortals of their modern relevance and inspire a new generation of believers.
Shot in high-definition and broadcast in short episodes online, O-Cast merges ancient legend with the power of viral video.
Now, only four days later, we’ve amassed over 3100 views on the first two episodes. It’s so exciting to finally have our show out in the world where it can be enjoyed! I’ve grown accustomed to doing shows in NYC where people have to travel if they want to see my project, but it’s been so incredible to be able to share our work with people world wide at the click of a button. It’s a whole new ballgame. We’ve just been so lucky and so honored to be as embraced by our peers and our new friends on the web. O-Cast is such a labor of love for the cast and crew and I want to thank everyone out there that is helping to put us on the map.
Here are episodes 1 and 2 of O-Cast Season 1!

This weekend I am performing at The Comic Strip on the Upper East Side of NYC! This performance is the culmination of an eight week stand-up comedy class I was enrolled in by WomanAroundTown.com. Each Monday I attend a class taught by D.F. Sweedler with several other amateur comedians and we workshop our material and continue to develop 5 minutes of material. Then, I chronicle my experiences for Woman Around Town in weekly articles. This Saturday, October 31st, my classmates and I are all getting up in front of a live audience to perform our sets! It has definitely been a wild ride and if you want to read about it, The Comic Strip has set up a blog directly attached to their site so that everyone can keep up with my comedic adventures! If you want to come see me perform, here is the information on the show:
